Today, we have England-native Six & their new single “crazy.” The track delivers a smooth, laid-back rap experience that blends traditional hip-hop influences with the melodic approach common in modern rap. His flow is one of the record’s strongest qualities, as he rides the beat with ease while naturally incorporating melody into his performance. The writing feels equally intentional, with each rhyme scheme casually rolling into the next without sounding forced. Lyrically, he explores the craziness and complexities of life, touching on the fallout of a meaningful relationship and the process of accepting that the other person was in the wrong. He also shares a story involving one of his friends, adding an authentic and relatable dimension. Doubling his vocals, expressive background vocals, and ad-libs add character, while the island-inspired drums, beautiful guitar melody, and subtle horns create a warm groove. Overall, “crazy” proves to be another great record while with tons of introspection. And finally, make sure you follow Six on the Instagram platform.
