“New One” is an atmospheric new single we’ll be reviewing in today’s song review by the talented Miami-based artist FatCat. The track delivers a confident and laid-back rap experience that blends a 2010s-inspired flow with modern production. His delivery is one of the strongest aspects, as he rides the beat effortlessly while channeling artists like Cousin Stizz and early Big Sean. The focused verses make his perspective easy to understand, while his confident writing creates an uplifting anthem centered around success, hard work, and self-belief. He flexes his status, money, and options while acknowledging the grind that helped him reach this position. This makes the record perfect for celebrations or positive manifestation. The production is equally impressive, featuring a heavenly vocal sample, beautiful keys, atmospheric sound design, and hard-hitting trap drums. Additionally, the watery instrumentation even creates the feeling of exploring a Mario water level. Overall,  “New One” is another hit from the Miami rapper that acts as another piece of his superstar branding. And finally, make sure you follow FatCat on the following platforms: Instagram & YouTube
