In this song review article, we’ll be covering Atlanta rapper GA Breezy & his emotional new single titled “Struggle.” Today’s song delivers an emotionally heavy Hip-Hop experience built around personal storytelling and pain. The lyrics are easily the standout feature, as GA Breezy stays focused while sharing his experiences with financial hardship, street life, and the consequences that come from growing up in difficult circumstances. He also touches on how the system has failed him and other inner-city youth. However, this detail makes his story relatable to listeners who have faced similar struggles. His melodic delivery adds another layer of emotion, with smooth Auto-Tune crooning that allows the pain in his voice to come through clearly. While the flow feels somewhat familiar, it fits the overall style of the record pretty well. Production also stands out, as it pairs elegant piano keys with rattling hi-hats and trap drums reminiscent of the emotional Southern Hip-Hop. This is a sound that’s been heavily popularized by similar artists like Rod Wave & NBA YoungBoy. Overall, “Struggle” is the perfect way to capture the pain & turmoil facing many people in America today. And finally, make sure you follow GA Breezy on the following platforms: Instagram & TikTok
